A Butterfly this Morning
I saw a butterfly this morning,
Its white wings flitting by.
I saw a butterfly this morning,
Then another caught my eye.
Springtime was smiling this morning,
White wings, green grass, blue sky.
A light breeze caressed my cheek this morning,
And a robin sang, “Oh, my!”
Hooray for God’s Creation this morning,
Let’s all smile as the years go by.
