Wake Up Little Hummingbird

Wake up, little hummingbird.
Wake up!

As Spring’s new beginnings
Bring color and flowers,
All God’s creation craves sunlight and bowers,

So flitting through leafy garden and swamp,
Drink your fill of God’s nectar—
Hover, fly backward, and romp!

Hum, hum, little hummingbird,
It’s Spring, so wake up!
